Котокафе: Один день с Лулу
(The Cat Café: A Day with Lulu)
Paragraph 1
Лулу́ бо́льше не спит це́лыми дня́ми. Тепе́рь у неё есть рабо́та! Она́ живёт в «Котокафе́» в це́нтре го́рода.
Translation:
Lulu no longer sleeps all day long. Now she has a job! She lives in a “Cat Café” in the city center.
Paragraph 2
Ка́ждое у́тро Лулу́ прихо́дит в зал, сади́тся на ро́зовое кре́сло и ждёт госте́й. В кафе́ па́хнет ко́фе и све́жими бу́лочками.
Translation:
Every morning, Lulu comes into the main room, sits in the pink armchair, and waits for guests. The café smells of coffee and freshly baked pastries.
Paragraph 3
Вот прихо́дит пе́рвый клие́нт. Он зака́зывает капучи́но и хо́чет прочита́ть газе́ту. Но Лулу́ не лю́бит, когда́ лю́ди про́сто чита́ют. Она́ запры́гивает на стол и кладёт ла́пу на газе́ту.
— Мя́у! — говори́т Лулу́. — Снача́ла поигра́й со мной, а пото́м чита́й!
Translation:
Here comes the first customer. He orders a cappuccino and wants to read the newspaper. But Lulu doesn’t like it when people just read. She jumps onto the table and rests her paw on the newspaper.
“Meow!” says Lulu. “Play with me first, then read!”
Paragraph 4
Клие́нт улыба́ется, берёт игру́шку и начина́ет игра́ть с ко́шкой. Лулу́ сча́стлива. Рабо́тать в кафе́ гора́здо интере́снее, чем про́сто спать до́ма!
Translation:
The customer smiles, picks up a toy, and starts playing with the cat. Lulu is happy. Working at the café is much more interesting than just sleeping at home!
